The participants are expected to have a general knowledge of food science and/or microbiology (e.g. microbial dynamics, food production and safety), and statistics (e.g. ordinary regression).

Students should bring a laptop computer with R ( and RStudio ( installed.

Although experience with the R software is helpful, it is not necessary as instructions of the basics will be given during the course.
