Structure

The congress will be organized in plenary lectures given by guest speakers, academic laboratories to present new and innovative academic research and thematic sessions which will take a technical approach to current issues and concerns of the sector.

Poster sessions will be organized according to the matters addressed in thematic sessions. The abstract submission is required for presentation of posters and academic laboratories (PhDs, Masters and others, ≤ 5 years). Authors will be notified of their acceptance as soon as possible within the set deadlines.
The abstracts will be published in a book of abastracts.
Authors of posters who wish may additionally submit an article on this subject, in agreement with the standards for publication on CD. The Scientific Committee will select a set of articles for publication in a special issue of Silva Lusitana. Moderators of thematic tables may invite to oral communications those who best fit the respective theme.

The authors of abstracts to academic laboratories, after its acceptance, must send the respective papers for publication on CD, according to the rules. In case of an excessive number of presentations, the Executive Committee will select for oral presentation the most related to the themes developed in the congress.
