The GreenUrbe Project aims at evaluating the impacts of green spaces on the quality of urban environment (air quality, noise and thermal comfort), and on the social well-being, under a particular spatial context - Bragança.
This Research Project is co-funded by the FCT - Foundation for Science and Technology and by the FEDER through program POCI 2010.

Conference "Quality of Urban Environment: New Challenges"
On the scope of the GreenUrbe Project, a conference will take place at the Superior Agrarian School of Bragança on the 8 and 9 October 2009, regarding subjects like:
- New challenges of Urban Sustainability;
- Urban Climate and Human Thermal Comfort;
- Environmental risk factors and Public Health;
- The impacts of Green Spaces in the Quality of Urban Environment;
- Presentation and demonstration of tools for analysis of urban system.
